Description

An original 1st press of MH on the UK Purple label. Matrix A1/B1. Stampers 1-GH/1-RR. Please note the labels mention 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text which is indicative of 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original patent nos inner sleeve and the original lyric poster. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could barely make out a single mark either side! A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. All we could detect were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments - i.e. practically nothing!!. Beautiful clean audio and it will wipe the floor with every other version....
Cover (Ex-) In great condition and has been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with only a couple of tiny creases and a couple of pin pricks in the corners. The rear is in similarly good condition just a couple of stress creases at the extremities. The interior is in great condition with just a small amount of tape residue on the edge of the left panel and a name written neatly below the track listing. Edge wear is pretty light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat.
Inner (Ex) No issues. No splits or markings.
Lyric Sheet (Ex) Great condition. No rips.
