NY - rec. on November 11, 1960 - original 1961 first issue - has on trail-off (dead wax) the RVG for Rudy Van Gelder and has the 'ear'Side 1 : My girl Shirl (D.Pearson) - Soulful kiddy Side 2 : A portrait of Jennie (Burdge-Robinson) - Cecile - The theme All compositions by Donald Byrd except as indicated
Visual grading : record is EX full lustre has light wear. Has a couple of very light unfeelable lines on side 1 and a very light unfeelable surface mark barely visible on side 2. Clean labels with light spindle wear Playing grading : record is EX plays very well with loud and clear sound. Has only a minimal very short and light background noise on piano solo in first track of side 2 Cover grading : cover is to EX- to EX has very light wear to corners. Front is nice and spine has all titles clearly readable. Has a light age yellowing on back cover
