<<60th Anniversary Alert>>
An original 1st press on UK RCA silver spot label from 1961. Note the tax code "OT" which dates the record to 1961. Matrix 1B/1B - 1st cut. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with flipbacks. There's an original Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete
Vinyl (Ex) In super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Hardy any background at all even into the mega fussy tracks. Now, this is really quite unusual over this time period. Overall very impressive - particularly when you consider the vintage.
Cover (Vg+) Notorious for surfacing in terrible condition - but someone's been pretty careful with this one. Nice front with only some signs of ageing and a couple of creases. The rear usually tarnishes and exhibits a lot of wear. But this example is still looking pretty tidy. Flips have aged. Overall - tidy. Minimal edge wear. The spine is 100% intact.
