Description
Extremely rare withdrawn Whitney Houston 12" Record. "Just The Lonely Talking Again". This record was promo'd by Arista US after "where do broken hearts go" but was never released as a single anywhere in the world.
The 12" includes 'If you say my eyes are beautiful', a duet with Jermaine Jackson.
There are two rumours as to why this record was pulled from release, one is that Arista did not want Whitney to be considered as a cover artist, another is the Arista wanted a guaranteed crossover hit.
Whatever the reason, just the lonely talking again was withdrawn and replaced with 'Love will save the day" making this an extremely rare Whitney Houston record.
I came into possession of this record through the purchase of a small record collection, all were mint and perhaps unplayed Arista records. My guess is that they came from someone working for Arista.
I believe that very few copies were pressed and I cannot find this version with these labels anywhere else online.

The record itself looks in perfect condition and on test plays like new, I wouldn't be surprised if it was its first time being played.
The cover is also in excellent condition and still has the original shrink-wrap protection. There is a very small amount of ringwear and the corners are slightly worn as can be seen in the pictures but it looks really great!!
Overall this record is superb and is an absolute must for any serious collector of Whitney Houston memorabilia or indeed for any collector of rare and withdrawn records.
