Description

    Since the ripe old age of 11, I have been a Beatles fan.  Little did I know when I purchased my copy of “Introducing the Beatles“ (to accompany my copy of “Meet the Beatles”) at W.T. Grant, I was embarking on a lifelong obsession of collecting Beatles recordings.  The collection of albums and singles numbers in the thousands.  It occupies a lot of space in our home.  Needless to say, it represents a sizeable chunk of my life.  Now as I face growing older and the prospect of moving into smaller quarters, I find that I must find a suitable home for the many items in my precious collection.
     For your consideration, one of the most rare items in my collection and it's not even a recording by The Beatles!  A record sleeve and recording by Beatles Producer George Martin and His Orchestra from the soundtrack of the Beatles incredible first movie.  This item was a gift to me from an employee of a radio station and its been in my collection since 1964.
     Take note of the images of the sleeve:  they are scans of the sleeve revealing every detail - even the very slight ring wear.  You'll have to look far and wide to find a better sample of this sleeve!  This one is 100% authentic and truly a beauty!  As for the record, I conservatively graded it "very good+", but I can honestly say that I probably never played it since I also had the Soundtrack album.
