Original authentic factory sealed copy of The Beatles “Original Motion Picture Sound Track A Hard Day’s Night” released in the US on June 26, 1964. I think it’s impossible to find a Monarch pressing copy in such a great condition. This is one of the copies when not only the cover was sealed by the manufacturer but also the vinyl for extra protection which became obvious when the cover of this copy was opened. The vinyl of this copy still remains sealed in a loose inner baggy with a perforation along the top edge. The cover remains in the original shrink wrap with an original white record store discount “Sealed For Your Protection” rectangular sticker at the mouth. Underneath the shrink wrap, affixed to the center of the cover is an incredibly rare hype sticker. Original sticker measures 2¼" reading “Includes RINGO’S THEME (THIS BOY) / AND I LOVE HER”. This sticker made by United Artists is considered to be one of the rarest Beatles hype stickers. 1st misprint cover variation with the credits written in 3 lines on the back crediting only "This Boy" to Maclen Music alone while the other songs are co-credited to Unart Music. The back cover corresponds to the 1st pressing mis-titling the "I'll Cry Instead" track as "I Cry Instead". Original United Artists 2.75” pressing ring black label with colored circles contain the catalog number “UAS-6366” and corrected “I’ll Cry Instead” title. These West Coast Monarch Los Angeles labels with a thin font are the only label variation which doesn’t have the running time after the track titles. Even though the vinyl remains factory sealed in a clear baggy, you can easily see the factory identifiers of the Monarch Los Angeles plant in the form of an “MR in a Circle” and Delta (△) symbol along with the very early 1st pressing matrix numbers -1E / -1E. The full matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1 – UAS6366A – 1E MR in a Circle △9595; Side 2 – UAS6366B-1E MR in a Circle △9595-x. As a bonus to this listing, we’ve decided to include the original 1964 1st “KEYS” print issue sheet music featuring one of the tracks, “And I Love Her" from “A Hard Day’s Night” album. This very rare vintage sheet music includes the notes and lyrics for the “And I Love Her” track along with containing the “Northern Songs” copyright credits. Outstanding rare original auction set consisting of an ultra-rare factory sealed Monarch pressing with the corrected labels, 1st print cover with an incredibly rare original hype sticker, and rare vintage original 1st print “A Hard Day’s Night” sheet music.
