This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of “J.R. Monterose” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1536. The flat rim playing surface is flawless, as new, throughout, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated frame Lexington Avenue cover is in extraordinary condition – bright and clean throughout; the bottom seam shows normal light rubbing and ½” wear at the opening. Personnel include Ira Sullivan, Horace Silver, Wilbur Ware, and “Philly” Joe Jones. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
