Description
Japan - Official Silver Disc Award
This is a genuine Silver Disc Award from Virgin Records for 60,000 sales of Japan’s album, ‘Gentlemen Take Polaroids’. This award measures 16x20 inches (40x51cms) and is in good condition. There’s a few small scratches on the aluminium frame, and the label on the record is slightly faded. However, neither of these minor things detract from the overall appearance once it’s hanging on the wall. The plaque mounted below the record reads:

This award was produced by Framous, the official BPI (British Phonographic Industry) award manufacturer. These awards were only presented within the music industry, and should not be confused with any kind of replica or ‘limited edition’ discs that are sold direct to the public.
This is a very rare opportunity to own a genuine piece of Japan/David Sylvian memorabilia.

Payment Info
Preferred payment is by cheque or bankers draft in UK Pounds. Paypal will also be accepted, however, if you have an unconfirmed address, then you will need to contact me before placing your bid. Cash can also be accepted, but only if the item is personally collected.
