Philips 6323 012 - 1972 - Italy

Rare original copy of the debut album by the Italian prog band JUMBO, published by Philips in 1972.

COVER - The front-laminated single cover is in VG+ to EX condition with general light age wear. There is a visible crease in the top right corner of the back, which also shows the beginning of some ring wear. The seams are solid and the titles printed on the left side are perfectly readable.

INNER - Lyric inner in near perfect condition, only has a small 1,5cm split on the bottom seam.

VINYL - Clean and shiny, some scuffs caused by the inner bag and a few superficial marks on side B. Plays with very light noise in the quietest parts. My grading is EX.
Record playgraded using a Shure V15-Type III stylus at 1.5gr.

LABELS - Original blue/silver Philips labels in perfect condition with no tears or writings. Correct Siae red stamp on side 1 label.

MATRIX NUMBERS - Machine stamped on the vinyl, 6323 012 1 1 520 110372 (side 1) and 6323 012 2 1 520 110372 (side 2).

Rara copia originale dell'album di esordio dei JUMBO, gruppo di prog italiano, pubblicato dalla Philips nel 1972.

COPERTINA - La copertina singola, laminata sul davanti, è in condizioni tra il VG+ e l'EX per la normale leggera usura dovuta al tempo. SUl retro è visibile una piega nell'angolo in alto a destra e un inizio di ring wear. I lati sono integri con i titoli stampati sul lato sinistro perfettamente leggibili.

BUSTA INTERNA - Busta interna con testi in condizioni ottime, unico difetto un'apertura di circa 1,5cm sul lato inferiore.

VINILE - Pulito e brillante, qualche segno dovuto allo sfregamento con la busta interna e un paio di righe abbastanza superficiali sul lato 2. Suona con minimo rumore di fondo nelle parti a basso volume. La mia valutazione è EX.
Disco suonato con una testina Shure V15-Type III del peso di 1.5 gr.

ETICHETTE - Originali Philips blu con scritte argento, in perfette condizioni senza strappi né scritte. Timbro Siae rosso sul lato 1.

NUMERI DI MATRICE - Stampati a macchina sul vinile, 6323 012 1 1 520 110372 (lato 1) e 6323 012 2 1 520 110372  (lato 2).

I've been asked by a few people interested in this LP to describe the vinyl condition with further details.
As said, it shows a few superficial marks at the beginning of the B-side and scuffs caused by the insertion of the record in the paper inner. The record will surely benefit from a professional cleaning, because in my opinion some very low clicks (one can be heard in the attached sample) are caused by some dirt in the grooves.
