Description
Next up is an increasingly rare Mono copy of Jethro Tull's debut album from 1968, 'This Was', on the pink Island 'eye' label. This is not the greatest copy of the album I've ever seen but it would make a good shelf-filler until a mint copy comes along. The Mono mix has a lot more 'ooomph' than the stereo mix, and Ian Anderson's singing is much more to the fore.
The cover is Good + and misses out on a Very Good because of minor creasing & wear along the edges. The lettering on the spine is still clearly visible.
The vinyl is also Good, but has quite a number of light surface marks. There are no scratches however and the album plays very well all the way through.
I would prefer PayPal, although I will accept a cheque (UK only) on the understanding that I will not post the record until the cheque has cleared.
I do not usually accept returns, as I aim to be totally honest with my descriptions at all times. If buyers are genuinly unhappy with their purchase, they will have to pay the return postage before receiving a refund !
All records are carefully packed, using stiffeners at all times.
Postage to the UK is £3, plus 70p extra for each additional LP. Normally I post second class in the UK, but I will arrange recorded delivery on request. I will post very expensive items either recorded or special delivery as a matter of course.
Postage to Europe is £4, plus £1 extra for each additional LP.
