Black Track label format .First issue labels!!! Excellent condition . NO mottling. NO peeling. NO graffiti of any kind. Silver text stands prominently with NO fading or damage . Beautiful examples of this rare mono variant .

Laminated outer gatefold sleeve . The very first issue sleeve!!

E J Day printed  ! ! Strong, vibrant coloration of luminous orange, pink and blue inks project in style on front/reverse faces .Lovely glossy sheen and opens to excellent inners with little to fault .Two Corner scuffs, opening edge feathering and a laminate peel on edging , taped two sides causing a little residue .Overall very good +/ex- condition.

COMPLETE with mega rare orange lyric sheet/insert. All lyrics clearly printed in pink print. Superb condition. Most are found missing so great to see it here! Very scarce item indeed. A few spots where there is some erosion of some lettering, see pics .

Vinyl

Thick, heavyweight giant and gives a buzz when held. Gorgeous feel . A very few  surface marks/hairlines. Staggering mirror like sheen . Not heavily played and reflects a glass like appearance. Visually pleasing to the eye . Three longer light stylus marks in total from both sides so a lovely looking vinyl .

Audio

Opens with the introduction of this great rock icon . As he speaks the special effects of the deliberate deceleration of his vocals kick in and grind down to a mind blowing initiation of a truly magnificent album presentation. Launches the listener into an amazing journey of sensational tones and a tremendous depth of sound . The monotone delivery is one of the best that I have ever heard from this Hendrix classic and conveys the music with a concise definition and a razor sharp edge. A few faint ticks (hardly noticeable)detected only once for a moment (last track side 1)  but does little to interfere with the music presentation.

These channels operate very effectively and must be graded an excellent aural delivery. Exceptionally clear channels with no deterioration in sound quality. Absolutely awesome audio as mono records got played with heavy styli and caused massive groove wear, resulting in distortion and muffled deliveries. Believe me, this aural delivery is the very best that I have heard from any mono recording. Unbelievable tones!

 A truly phenomenal Hendrix release and as one listens to this album, one can appreciate that this is a true classic ,  and one record that all serious vinyl collectors should have. The pure genius of this man is illustrated throughout. The feedback from the amplifiers and the screeching electric guitar infusions are truly magnificent and places this rock classic as one of the best of its time.

Certainly one of the best audios I have ever heard from this album release. And with the much sought after orange lyric insert, it is an album to be treasured for many years to come and is of true investment quality.
