612003 Super ultra RARE MONO recording  ! ! Incredibly difficult to locate but with the scarce, lyric insert/poster . ONLY 500 of these posters were ever produced and only a handful survived. A truly, scarce example of music history.

Beautifully maintained vinyl surfaces ! TOP aural delivery with a profound depth of sound ! Original orange lyric insert in MINT-/ undamaged condition! Beautifully maintained opening gatefold sleeve with vibrant coloration ! Black track first issue, TEXTURED labels ,undamaged  with a faint spindle trace only ! There are very pleasing and significant differences between the two mixes that make the MONO version extremely special to collectors :

EXP is shorter without the extended feedback at the end and the vocals are louder.
Castles Made of Sand features a different vocal performance.
One Rainy Wish has a slightly different ending.

Mono is well preferred by many with the much deeper, sharp tones and the profound depth of aural delivery. There are other minor differences too, spanning the entire playback, as a result of the separate mixing to mono as opposed to merely combining the stereo tracks. Hence its apparent high value and appeal from collectors worldwide.

Black Track label format .First issue textured labels!!! Excellent+ condition .  No damage visible .NO mottling. NO graffiti of any kind. Silver text stands prominently with NO fading or damage . Beautiful examples of this rare mono variant .  EX/+  with just some evidence of play visible around central holes , confirming a very carefully handled and lightly played vinyl -impossible to locate like this 

Laminated outer gatefold sleeve .

Very first issue with flip backs on inner centrefold .

E J Day printed  ! ! Strong, vibrant coloration of luminous orange, pink and blue inks project in style on front/reverse faces .Lovely glossy sheen and opens to NR MINT inner faces with little to fault, except for a few, light finger prints, top left corner . Flip backs near perfect, with no damage to report. Smells fresh and ultra clean and the crisp, internal spinal column, almost makes the voyeur feel, that it has just come off the press! Amazing centrefold and so ultra rare in this condition. Many are found worn with surface damage but this is visually amazing in every sense!

Light corner rubs and extreme spinal edge wear visible. No lifting to laminate and minimal creasing to external lamination. 1cm peel /loss of surface on extreme lateral but have to look for it ,as it is infintessimal. Very difficult to locate in this excellent+ condition. Spine is ex+ ,displaying NO laminate splits, with only slight top/lower spinal edge wear and spine is a little rough on the fingertips. Some feathering to opening edge- and a slight nick on edge inside and out but hardly obtrusive to the eye.One of the very best examples of this notorious, psychedelic gatefold.

Vinyl

Thick, heavyweight giant …a monster slab and gives a buzz when held. Gorgeous feel . Mainly 2-3 surface marks visible on S1,Tr1 right at the extreme edge and are non audible. Few ultra faint hairlines, examined against bright light, caused through sleeve removal .Staggering mirror like sheen . Just a handful of plays and in absolutely unbelievable condition, hardly ever seen like this  and reflects a glass like appearance. Visually stunning to the voyeur . Ex visual.

Audio

A virtually faultless aural delivery . No need to locate another example if you are lucky enough to win this one!

Opens with the introduction of this great rock icon . As he speaks the special effects of the deliberate deceleration of his vocals kick in and grind down to a mind blowing initiation of a truly magnificent album presentation. Launches the listener into an amazing journey of sensational tones and a tremendous depth of sound . The monotone delivery is one of the best that I have heard from this Hendrix classic and conveys the music with a concise definition and a razor sharp edge.  

Surface disturbance is virtually non existent, except between tracks/opening grooves, being hyper critical, which does little to affect music presentation.  Mostly clear grooves for most of playback and is quite remarkable, with minimal distortion  from this exceptionally scarce ,mono release .

 Absolutely awesome audio as mono records got played with heavy styli and caused massive groove wear, resulting in distortion and muffled deliveries. This audio delivers unbelievable tones, razor sharp with a definitive edge! Phenomenal aural delivery .

 A truly phenomenal Hendrix release and as one listens to this album, one can appreciate that this is a true classic ,  and one record that all serious vinyl collectors should have. The pure genius of this man is illustrated throughout. The feedback from the amplifiers and the screeching, electric guitar infusions ,are truly magnificent and places this rock classic as one of the best of its time.

All lyrics clearly defined with legible pink text !To demonstrate its rare condition, the fold in centre, is as crisp and clean as you can get, and has hardly been handled.An absolute gem for the keen collector.

An excellent+ album gatefold sleeve with a spell bounding audio to match!  Depth of sound is truly awesome throughout and channels are beautifully clear for the most part of play. The highly polished, glass like surfaces of the vinyl display a factory fresh appearance under ordinary light . Never seen a better example of this monumental Hendrix classic .
