Near ex the vinyl `Vault stored` copy for many years. Not record store new or nr mint but a very good plus  playing copy. Has the raised texured labels.

The orange lyric insert is the original its excellent ,

cover is Ex preserved  well no writing or tears, see photos..

has the super rare * double ring * on labels only the earliest copies have this! .....

Sleeve is ex

spine shows a very little wear see photo's , colours are good and not fading, the thick card holds up no writing , names or stickers.

The rarest of the London 1967 Classic UK "Black track" recordings in superb Mono!

this is a 55 year old vinyl 1st pressing! Near ex  vinyl stored copy difficult to find now...great punchy Mono.

 Jimi Hendrix second album on Track released in 1967 , recorded April, May 67 in Olympic studios London , this followed "are you experienced" in the same year,

Jimi was required to produce 2 albums for Track in that year, Jimi was playing and recording in London almost every day so this was no problem for the experience.

Buy this with the Mono Smash Hits copy we are selling and you get a flavour of the Jimi Hendrix output from is referred to as his "Golden period" in "Swinging London 66/67"

Record is bear ex copy no skips or jumps, Vault stored copy  ,labels show "Made in Great Britain" at 6 oclock on the "Classic Black Track UK" mono label! as it should be on UK 1st pressing. some normal light corner wear. Laminate has light creases see photos.

There are some light hairlines only under light, and very light removal marks, this is the original iconic Black UK Track label from 1967 nothing detracts on playback superb!

it has no skips or jumps or sticks.there is only light static in between tracks has some static and surface at start of track `ESP` may improve with a professional clean

we dont do this its a personal thing.

This is a rare stored vinyl copy it has been played but a great affordable buy for any collector, this Jimis second track recording from 1967 is we believe harder to find than the first record ... here it is under £400  Near Ex....vinyl , not nr mint or perfect but a nice copy.

The original UK mono copies from 1967 are now so hard to find in this condition you can see vgc  or vgc plus` copies at 450+ is not unusual , 

A near ex vinyl ` of this quality often these are overpriced, you can see 400 gbp or more...

this is copy is a great deal at below 400gbp...

Photo of Jimis Mayfair London England residence is not included , it is where some of the songs were written though! also the Royal Mail postbox outside Jimis home is where he posted his postcards home to his Dad Al about his success in London 66 and 67.....

The record near ex condition

This is a mono copy and sounds awesome and easily our favourite over the stereo copies.

A1 B1 matrixes with "inverted triangle" on runout very very early 1st press copy!

Also has the super rare *double ring* on inner labels very rare and early copy ....

no writing, vinyl plays great punchy  audio....from the mono mix , it's our personal favourite.

The labels are in Excellent shape no writing or stickers, has some light spindle lines there are some removal marks under strong light no skips or jumps on our Rega 3 plays close to mint on most tracks its a pleasure to listen. some surface noise only and a few ticks on the intro vocal track exp,all good. 

Vgc  vinyl condition with some lines,  sleeve light removal scuffs and general handling use  , which do not disrupt play, there is light static in some places and intros, bear in mind this is a 55 year old vinyl record!

Nice fat pre oil crisis heavy 60s vinyl wow !very flat on the table, test played on 2 decks wow great audio.

Plays through great on the Rega 3

So thick and fat vinyl..very flat on then table.

See pictures in the listing you can see the record. it plays through without disruption no skips or jumps and fully play tested on 2 decks one very light tracking Kenwood deck which normally shows any defect.

There is some static in quieter passages and intros ,the 30 second vocal track "ESP" has some  audible static at intro but clear after...`castles made of sand` also at intro but nice to listen.

Plays clear with bright crisp sound may benefit from a professional clean (we don't do this as it's an individual thing) some background static is noticeable in the quieter passages but not many of those!

The Cover is Excellent CONDITION

Been kept in a PVC sleeve in recent years of its life in good shape from a smoke free home.

This copy has its original 55 yr old inner sleeve, its aged but is intact , the vinyl is supplied with a quality new pvc lined inner sleeve.

Bright vibrant colour no writing stickers or tears, spine is showing wear see photo and sleeve see photos in listing. 

There is almost zero only light laminate lifting on the front see photos only lighter creases. its showing some wear at corners from its 55 years service. 

having done it's job over the 55 + years the sleeve has good corners some wear at the spine (see photos)

some normal handling and strage  wear on  corners see photos, 

55 yrs handling wear see photos very good to be ex from its long life.

on the whole a very very collectable sleeve and vinyl. 

.....a keeper.

The super rare *Orange lyric* Insert is a reproduction and mint pretty faithful to the original ,how many remain super rare. see photos  .
