Led Zeppelin IV 4 UK Lp 1972 Original LP [1st Press on Green & Orange] Ex+/Ex

Description

An original 1972 pressing of Zep on the UK Atlantic label. Matrix A2/B2. Please note these early '72 copies come hot on the heal of those very sought after red & plum copies from Q4 1971 - only a matter of a few months. Please note the labels do not exhibit the warner brothers logo in the perimeter text and this is indicative of a pressing from the 1st half of 1972. The label also holds the track spelling error "Misty Mountain Top". The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold sleeve. Also included is the original bespoke lyric inner sleeve. We are also including a generic patent no inner sleeve from the same year for transport. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has only seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of superficial marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A storming rendition and one that could be described as nigh on perfect. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Eben in those acoustic numbers, which often exhibit a touch of background, there's nothing vaguely to pick up. As clean a copy as I've witnessed and is about as good as humanly possible to go. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In beautiful condition and must have had one fastidious owner - it's been practically archived. Lovely clean front and back without creasing and as flat as a pancake! The only vague criticism I can make of it is there's a tiny amount of sticker residue on the front in the top-right corner. Truth be told I almost missed because it is practically invisible against the background image. The interior is in lovely condition and only exhibits lightest handling - way better than what usually surfaces. Edge wear is extremely light on the is example and the spine is perfectly intact. I really don't recall seeing/handling a nicer specimen. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies perfectly flat.
Inner (Ex+) Perfect, no splits, no markings, no creasing. [back-up inner is rated at Ex-].
