An absolute classic LP by the singer from Affinity, backed by members of the jazz-rock-fusion band Nucleus!
An astonishing album that undeservedly failed to find an audience when released and was only pressed in small numbers.
Having left the jazz rock band Affinity, Linda Hoyle was ready to leave the music industry but had a parting shot at success. Pieces of Me showcases her remarkable voice – think Grace Slick or Julie Driscoll - and she is backed by a really crack band including Chris Spedding, Karl Jenkins, Jeff Clyne and John Marshall – all at the time in Nucleus – and Colin Purbrook for one track. A folk, psych, rock, jazz masterpiece.

Both sides are have no real signs of age, with no writing, stickers, or tears. An extremely small amount of almost undetectable spindle marks. Both must grade overall at least as Very Good+!!!
Vinyl:
Nice bright, clean and shiny. No scratches or scuffs, hairlines or sleeve traces whatsoever!!!
Play graded and it plays with fantastic stereo separation and clarity.
Sounds terrific with no pops, hisses, or skips but with a small amount of low level static in places. It would benefit from a very deep clean. For a record that is 50 years old it is inremarkable condition. Graded an extremely conservative VG+ because of the light static.
Sleeve :
Original 1971 UK 1st Press unlaminated gatefold sleeve complete with original swirly inner.
Some evidence of wear on the bottomof the sleeve and small wear on the corners, consistent with being stored Otherwise no writing, tears, excessive wear or damage. For its ages its in amazing condition. Graded as Ex.
