MOSCO TILES FONCLAIRE Steel Funk & Brass island funk LP
Mosco Tiles Fonclaire Steel Orchestra - Steel, Funk & Brass LP Tropico, 1977?Steel drum funk can easily become a bit corny, but not in this case!! Steel Funk & Brass is among the few most sought after steel funk albums and for a reason. The band is accompanied by a tight funk drummer and some of the songs have a vocalist. They venture into covers of the era's big funk and soul tunes like Cymande's 'The message' and Bill Withers' 'Ain't no sunshine'.
The highlight on the album may be a cover of an afrobeat song! Originally performed by Fela Kuti, this version of 'A black man's cry' was recently compiled on 'Black Man's Cry: The Inspiration of Fela Kuti' (Stones Throw). The other best track is 'Caterpillar', a cover of the Lou Donaldson song.
Grab this super rare original while you can... it doesn't show up a lot, especially in such nice condition.

Purchases to Italy and France are only sent via Registered mail with tracking! Sorry but I have had too many problems with the postal services there. I will give you a tracking code so you can follow the package online.

In all my years selling via the web, I have never had a package lost and only once did an LP break but if you want to be 100% sure you may opt to have the record sent through registered mail at a little extra cost.
