Description
1974 Antilles Records, this is an original US pressing of the rare Portsmouth Sinfonia LP "Hallelujah" as recorded at The Royal Albert Hall. This LP featured "untrained" musicians performing classical pieces from The Nutcracker Suite, Overture 1812, William Tell Overture, and others. The resulting disaster is both legendary and a surprisingly good listen. Brian Eno produced and also played clarinet in the orchestra, which was conducted by John Farley. Cover is VG++, showing some ring and handling wear. Vinyl is also shiny and clean VG++/VG+++, with a few minor surface marks that don't affect play. Overall, a nice original copy of this hard to find LP. Buyer pays $6 shipping in the US. I accept Paypal, US Postal Money orders, and well concealed US Dollars. Thanks for looking and good luck!
