We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +21,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. One of the most-sought British psychedelic sixties albums of all time... The OPEN MIND is a hard-rock guitar led quartet with a striking sound and only selling in small micro- numbers upon its original U.K. release in 1969; ultra-rarity 55 years onward, hence near impossible finding a clean spare original
The OPEN MIND was formed in the mid 1960s by four musicians from South London. Initially named The Drag Set, they released a little-known single in February 1967, "Day and Night"/"Get Out of My Way". Shortly thereafter, they changed their name to The OPEN MIND and in July 1969 released this LP which has since become a highly sought hard psych collectible.The OPEN MIND were not afraid to mix things up, with odd freak-beat harmonies and rhythm changes. Within understated hard crunchy edges, all tracks are dominated by cool fuzz guitar, driving bass and drums. Think CREAM "DISRAELI GEARS" blue-print. The vocal harmonies, at times, almost sound like they are switching keys from what the instruments are doing. The singer is a musician and not just fronting the band.
