Description

For Auction, A Beautiful Copy of the Extremely Rare, and Fantastic 78 by Rube Lacy, on Paramount 12629. The cuts are Mississippi Jail House Groan, and Ham Hound Cave. This record is one of the rarest Pre-War 78's on the legendary Paramount Label. The record is one of the greatest 78's of any era, and ranks on equal footing with Son House, and the other Paramount Label greats like Skip James. The record is graded E, with almost no play wear. The record is predominately Black & Shiny, though it does have a few lighter patches of discoloration. These are pictured. The imperfections are silent in playback, and the record plays well. There are no other imperfections.  I am well experienced with 78's, and will ship this fragile record in a 12 x 9 box, loaded with packing peanuts, so it will get to you safely.   Please check my listings for Blues and Rock & Roll 78's.
