Here's another rare Soul 45 on the legendary Shrine label out of Washington, D.C. I won't go into the convulated history of this label here, suffice it to say, most of the records on this label are extremely rare. Up for auction is Shrine 110, by Shirley Edwards. Both sides of this record, "Dream My Heart" and "It's Your Love", are first class mid tempo ballads with exceptional arrangements, singing, and performance. Really powerful stuff! Conditionwise, as with many Shrines, the vinyl is a bit worn (tho probably from storage, from playing), and there is some writing on both labels. Overall, I would grade it a strong VG, though it plays VG+. Don't let this one get by!
