Description

Rare album from a great American Folk Singer, Hedy West. Absolutely amazing voice, quite popular in UK and Europe, lived in London for 7 years and for a while in Germany. Was  compared to Joan Baez, Buffy St. Marie, Joni Mitchell and others of that ilk.

Released in the UK in 1967 on Fontana STL.5432, this album is extremely hard to find now. It really is a terrific album of folk songs, a mixture of English, Irish, and Southern Appalachian Mountains music. Some beautiful songs here, beautifully sung.

Record is grade just about VG+ Cond. Bit of surface noise both sides, but oh how that great voice, cuts above it all. am working on the album, to remove any dust in the grooves as much as I can. Hardly any surface marks. Sleeve is also in VG+ Cond. Recommended. Good Luck if you're bidding and thanks for your interest.
