Description

An original 1st press on UK RS label. Matrix A4/B4.  'recording 1st pub' is exhibiting. PROMOTONE is NOT showing as you tend to find on the early copies. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue in a cover with pinched spine. Zip - fully operational and UNTARNISHED. We have an original inner and the credit sheet too, So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side. Fully tested - nothing heavy or worrisome though [guaranteed]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with deviation in a couple of spots per side. Intros and inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A very clean signalled player - and has clearly not been overplayed. This is the sort of preservation a collector would be hankering after. Nothing unpalatable the whole way through. A few slight crackles early in 'White Horses' before the vocal comes in...a couple of slightest ticks....which otherwise plays much better than you typically find. One slight tick early in 'Blues' & 'Morphene'. All quiet numbers play excellent....which is NOT as easy find. Finding it difficult to fault. A really impressive player.
Cover (Ex-/Vg+) Very well preserved and nice unworn edges with slight signs of ageing at extremities. But aesthetic very well preserved overall - very smart. SF covers are often looking a bit worse for wear on the front. This example is lovely condition without much surface wear or creasing at all. One tiny blemish bottom left corner. Rear well above average. Belt flap in excellent order - slight wear to top flap which often tears off. Spine has slightest wear - text 90% legible and some ageing. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) Aged.  No splits.
Insert (Ex-) Very well preserved.
