Description

A 1st press of Sticky Fingers on Rolling Stone Records. Matrix A4/B3. Etching 'Rolling Stone Records'. Please note the labels make no mention of 'Promotone' - this is indicative of 1st press. The vinyl comes housed in an original Richard Davis printed cover with zip gimmick and pinched spine. Please note zip has fused and I would not recommend trying to move it! Also included is the original credits insert.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In superb shape and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a number of light marks either side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is both minimal and infrequent. All we detected was a touch of light static in some of those quieter tracks e.g. the intro to Wild Horses and then on a couple on side 2 [certainly nothing invasive]. Its a very fine player indeed and an impressive example of a true 1st press.
Cover (Ex) Has been carefully looked after down the years. Ageing is common on this title, but not here.... the image is sharp and the print has not dulled. Edge wear is very light and the text on the spine is still legible. The flap at the top on the front is still intact and overall the cover retains great rigidity. A truly superb specimen.
Insert (Ex) No ageing at all. Start of one tiny rip.
