Description
Up for auction here I have a 1st press 1978 copy (though label states 1977, actually released February 1978) of The Adverts - Crossing The Red Sea With The Adverts. Released on the Bright record label, the catalogue number is BRL 201 .
Condition of the sleeve is graded as Very Good + with light edge wear, typical for a record a shade under 40 years old. The vinyl is graded at EXCELLENT condition. Very clean with just some light whisps from sleeve removal over the years. Clearly a record that hasn't been overplayed (though it should be as there's not many better punk albums that can better it in my opinion)!

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM MINT :The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed be Mint. EXCELLENT :The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD :The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. I may use a + or a - to emphasise a grading which may be in between a grade. I will never use a mint grading for a 2nd hand/used record for instance. Mint- will be the very highest grade. PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO NOT,AND WILL NOT,RETRACT A BID FOR ANYONE REGARDLESS OF THE EXCUSE.THIS IS SOMETHING YOU WILL HAVE TO DO YOURSELF USING THE BID RETRACTION FORM AND EARN A BID RETRACTION STRIKE AGAINST YOURSELF.
