Artist(s): The DOORS
Title: “Strange Days”
Year: 1967.
Label: ELEKTRA. Monaural pressing on medium weight vinyl. Label is gold with black text, promotional copy label. Catalog number is EKL-4014.
Condition:
DISC: NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found. Appears to have been played one or two times at most, and handled with utmost care. Labels are clean. Fidelity is superb. A gorgeous disc you will never need to upgrade.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG++. Front artwork is clean, with a few slight traces of ring wear just beginning to appear at the top. Bottom seam has some shelf wear, but is not split. Top seam and spine are excellent. Corner tips display some wear, and the two top corners are bumped.
Reverse is very clean, and similar to the front, has only a few traces of ring wear starting to appear at the top center. There is an orange rectangular sticker at top center, that reads “Promotion Copy – Not For Sale.” Overall a very fine jacket – nicer than most - to accompany the superb disc.
Includes the original glossy factory inner sleeve with lyrics on one side and B&W photo on the reverse. Has some minor darkening along one edge and several minor creases. There are a couple small cuts at the top, and a split is just beginning to appear on one of the side seams. Otherwise excellent.
From our personal collection, this is a very nice package, and a terrific opportunity for the serious DOORS collector who insists on rarity and top condition!
