RARE 1969 ORIGINAL issue of one of the rarest USA KINKS LP's ... never available in retail stores -- so hard to find we haven't had a spare copy for listing in a number of years.
Includes the original Repise printed inner sleeve.
It also has the bag of grass and the promo buttons!
THE KINKS "Then Now And Inbetween" has been always rare and sought since it was only a scant 1969 USA promotional-ONLY issued 15-track LP. The item was issued on the two color 'steamboat' label sporting a unique pasted KINKS picture sleeve with detailed liner notes on the reverse. This LP was part of a huge promotional campaign prior to their first US tour since 1965 featuring one side of [mainly] mid sixties gems and one of choice selections from the 'Something Else' and 'Village Green' albums, along with Berkely Mews and Days. At the time it came out it was the only way to get "Berkeley Mews." The album was sent to radio stations and publications for review purposes. However the rarity was also available by mail order only from adverts in select magazines. The sleeve shows minimal shelf wear & the vinyl remains excellent with little sign of play... after 49 years of age!
