Description

 The Mersey Sound LP on the Polydor label Mono LPHM 100.

The 1964 LP album is an Australian only release, by Philips Electrical Industries Pty Ltd & this album was "For display purposes only" as noted on the back cover (see photo).

The album has some of the earliest Beatles songs including The Beatles and Tony Sheridan / My Bonnie / The Saints / Cry for a Shadow / Why.

"This album includes some excellent examples of the early as well as the most recent Mersey music. George Harrison & Paul McCartney were still members of the Beat Brothers when the tracks "Ruby Ruby & What'd I Say" were recorded with Tony Sheridan. Then, shortly afterwards, the Beatles were formed and they did the four tracks on this album, again with Tony Sheridan."

The vinyls is in excellent condition, with just some very light marks, the cover is in good condition with some light edge wear, a date "1964" written on the flip back cover with some light ring wear.

The labels are in excellent condition with the albums name / side number / album number noted on each.
