THE PEASANTS  -Here She Comes/ I Care For you/ When I Close My Eyes/ I Can Help 7" (UK, Homestead, HRSS 009, 1981) I am pleased to offer a copy of this legendary sought after power pop disc. VERY difficult to find, but I probably don't need to tell you that, this may be its first time on ebay. All 4 songs have a nice Beatles influence, a personal favourite.


Condition: (standard Record Collector gradings apply with the use of + & -)
Sleeve: There is a sticker tear on the front and another at the opening edge on the back (see pics). Apart from this the sleeve is EX, no split seams and a few small creases. What looks like wear on the purple strip at the bottom of the front is actually how's it's printed.
Disc: The disc is an EP which plays at 33RPM so the mastering is lower than a regular one song per side 45. I have included a sound clip taken from the actual disc, my turntable is quite sensitive and no noise reduction techniques were used so I think it is representative of how it will sound. Disc has been cleaned on a Loricraft PRC-3, the A side looks EX, only a few small marks, a few light background pops can be heard. The B side is very clean but has a some tiny scuffs which cause some background noise at the end of B2. To be safe, I'll grade it VG. The long fade out of B1 has light surface noise. Please listen to the clips of side A & B, they include the run in/outs. The labels are clean but the B side has a couple of scuff lines at the right edge (see pic).
