What you are bidding on is a stunning FACTORY SEALED copy of THE VIBRATIONS: GREATEST HITS. This is a deep groove pressing of this classic lp From the USA on OKEH. Now where you gonna find this sealed?
The Vibrations were an African-American soul vocal group from Los Angeles, California, active from the mid-1950s to 1976. Most notable among the group's hit singles were "My Girl Sloopy" (1964) and "Love in Them Thar Hills" (1968). The quintet's members included Don Bradley, Carl Fisher, Dave Govan, James Johnson and Ricky Owens.
The group initially began recording as The Jay Hawks, and had a hit in 1956 with "Stranded in the Jungle" (US #18). After a few lineup changes, the group hit again in 1961 with the song "The Watusi" (US #25); concurrently, they had a hit under the name The Marathons with "Peanut Butter" (#20).
The group recorded a couple of Northern Soul classics since their initial hit on Atlantic Records in 1963. A cover version of "My Girl Sloopy", retitled "Hang On, Sloopy", was a hit for the McCoys in 1965.
The Vibrations briefly broke up in 1971. At this time, Owens became a member of The Temptations, although he was let go after his first few engagements. Owens and the other Vibrations regrouped and continued, eventually become a nightclub act in the mid 1970s, before officially dissolving the group in 1976.

How we grade records:
NM: We never rate records this way, someone can find a flaw in the records even sealed....
VG+ :Most of our records fall into this range. Some will be new and unplayed, some will have a few marks, but well taken care of and should play fine.
VG: There are a few marks and scuffs and will have a little noise, but still well enjoyable.
VG- : We will not list these. Only buy them if you have to have them.
FACTORY SEALED: These lps are a good as you can get, bear in mind it may have a piece of dust on it. It may have a tiny ding on the corner, but what do you expect for records that are 30-40 years old. They are well worth having and probably have less damage on them than you do. (I'm only saying this for people who expect these things to be totally flaw free after 30 years, if you are that critical DON'T BID, I REPEAT DON'T BID!). 99.9% of you will be well happy with them.
How we grade covers:
NM: We never rate covers this way, you will find a flaw even if we condider perfect.
VG+ This is not mint, there may be a few scuffs, tiny seam splits, mabe a piece of tape, but the cover still looks good considering it's age.
VG: This will be very noticeable larger seam splits, repairs, somewhat worn, but still ok.
VG-: We will not list these.
