Description

PMC1255 an original 1st pressing from September 1965 on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix -2/-2. Stampers 2-PT 18-HO. Weight 160gs. The LP comes housed in its original Garrod & Lofthouse cover and Emitex inner sleeve. 1st pressings are known to carry the date of release on the rear of the cover, as does this example. - '6509'
Vinyl (Ex) Remains in terrific condition and has clearly seen minimal play. A close inspection reveals nothing more than one or two very light marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, Excellent, level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity and very little interference at all. The only exception is a couple of light clicks on the intro to track 3 - I'm being picky here though. It is very difficult to find a true 1st press that plays back to this standard.
Cover (Ex) The front is in nice and shiny and remains pure white. The rear has very little ageing at all and only some light markings toward the opening. The cover also retains a rigidness which belies its age. The text on the spine is fully intact. Again, a really great example.
Emitex (Ex-) No splits or markings.
