Description
TXS 103 a stereo pressing from 1967 on the UK Decca Label. It's worth noting that this a true first issue [Matrix -4K/-4K] with the deep groove on the label - this was not evident on post-67 pressings. Also, at the time of release Mono was by far the more prevalent format and, as a result, a true Stereo 1st issue is much harder to get hold of. The record comes housed in a true STEREO original 3D holographic cover.
Vinyl (VG+) Has seen some play, but the vinyl still retains a good shine. Under close inspection I can see nothing more than a couple of very light marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a VERYGOOD+ level of playback. The audio comes across with very good clarity and only some light interference audible occasionally in one or two of the quieter passages. Overall a very decent copy of a very sought after record.
Cover (VG+) Again the cover has survived the years well. The 3D hologram remains intact and the cover over all has a good rigid feel to it. There is some edgewear which has resulted in a two inch split to the bottom seam, but in all other respects it remains a very good example of a rare and original cover.
Inner (VG+) Flame inner is original and has been repaired with sellotape neatly down one side. No markings - just a couple of seam splits.
