Description

A rare, regional vinyl pressing of "Through The Gates" featuring Evangelist Ralph Sexton and The Inspirations Quartet.

Condition and Playability: VG (Very Good)
This unique album captures Brother Ralph Sexton delivering a powerful sermon text taken from Nehemiah, paired beautifully with music from the iconic Inspirations Quartet out of Bryson City, NC. Recorded at the historic Mark V Studio in Greenville, SC, and manufactured by the legendary custom record plant Rite Record Productions in Cincinnati, Ohio (Matrix numbers 27813 / 27814 etched in the runout).

A wonderful addition for collectors of custom-pressed religious vinyl, mountain gospel history, or regional private label pressings.

The vinyl maintains a beautiful glossy shine across both sides.
There are some minor light cosmetic surface hairlines and faint sleeve scuffs under direct light, but no deep gouges or feelable scratches.
The bright blue labels are crisp and clean with minimal spindle wear.

The runout wax clearly shows the etched matrix numbers and "EVAN. R. SEXTON" inscription.
Jacket (Sleeve): Very Good (VG)
The front cover artwork has bright colors with minor age-toning.
The back cover shows standard vintage ring wear, minor corner/edge scuffs, and faint dust storage spots appropriate for its age. Seamless edges with no major splits.
