Ok, so not particularly rare at 1st issue - relatively easy to come by. But this album was LOVED by it owners...so are often found in 50/50 condition. And any U2 fan will no doubt want that all-time banger of a copy that is not 'pretty good'...but basically ticks each and every box to a high standard. An original 1st UK copy to beat ALL copies!!!. Matrix A3/B4. The vinyl comes housed in the original gatefold cover which hellishly difficult to find in good condition. We have the original poster/lyric sheet and the black inner too.  So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In really nice condition and has seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of very light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly Excellent+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. REALLY excellent clarity....this copy will likely beat 95% of anything u cared to put up against it..  Crank it all the way up and it will keep delivering!...There's a quite straightforward method to tell whether a U2 copy is gonna play brill. Go to those ever popular slow-build numbers...MOST copies will exhibit a bit of background in these tracks. BUT a proper minter should be able to handle these from start to finish with a quiet background . AND THATS WHAT WE HAVE HERE....the first thing you should hear on these tracks is,,,NOT THE INSTRUMENTS....you should hear THE MOOD [or ambience if you like]. These tracks always start with a mood first, and then the instrumentation comes in gradually later. And this is the tell tale sign which distinguishes a good copy from a great copy.. All I could detect was a couple of minor crackles in one opening....it is then TOTALLY CLEAN 100%...which means you will hear the instrumentation on the original masters right down to the faintest twang imaginable...have a good think about this one...By all means pay loads more for a later 'master recording'...no doubt they are good. BUT what I am saying is....I am offering you a copy from the 1st couple of months after those fresh masters came into an existence. A Quality copy...through and through. Could you beat it by some other method?..I'm not so sure....just spin up 'WITH or WITHOUT YOU'...listen to that delicate intro... Could you beat that.?..with a silent background?.. I doubt it. Cover (Ex-) In very smart condition with clean surfaces front and rear. Ok, first thing here.....be careful on-line....ALOT of these copies can look pretty good at first look. BUT BE WARNED...this cover is an absolute nightmare for foxing...copies graded at EXC often turn up with low-level foxing. Not the end of the world...but annoying. SO --- what I am offering is a guarantee..those photos looks superb...and the item is superb with NO FOXING.. The spine is 99% intact.. The only thing I could possibly chuck at it...is....a few very fine white flecks here and there on the cover...so it's not perfect...but a solid EXC. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
