This is a 1976 UPSETTERS LP -- SCRATCH THE SUPER APE. It is the ORIGINAL JAMAICAN PRESS LP8108
YES THIS IS THE ORIGINAL PRESS! NOT A REPRINT! THE ORIGINAL SCRATCH THE SUPER APE!!
Condition: This record is in EXCELLENT condition. There are no scratches whatsoever on the vinyl. For one of the rarer reggae albums, the wax is still bright and shiny. The sound is crisp and clean - no pops, hiss, or scratches. You will never find a better copy of this original album. The labels are in excellent condition and are marked 'PRODUCED & DIRECTED BY UPSETTER L. PERRY'. The inner groove is marked LP-8108 A/B. The cover is in VERY GOOD condition. It is marked 'Lithographed in Jamaica by Adprographics Ltd.' It has minor dings and ringwear expected on an album this old. The top seam has tape on it, but it is hardly noticeable and it has not yellowed. The seams have not ripped. The spine is still in very good condition.
