THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'
1963 UK 2nd MONO PRESSING LP
This wonderful 1963 2nd pressing mono disc is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1230
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The publishing credit following the 'Money' title is: 'Dominion.Belinda (Ldn.) Ltd.'
The track 3 title on side 2 has been revised as: 'You Really Got A Hold On Me'
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the side 2 centre hole.
Housed in front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed 'Patents Pending' mono cover.
The track listing on the rear also misspells track 3 on side 2 as 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me'
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex..' poly-lined inner-sleeve.

A top-class pair with just a single faint spindle mark to the side 1 label where even a sliver of the silver centre hole marker. The only blemish is some faint marks from the window of the inner-sleeve due to long-term storage.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, deep-gloss surface which are totally unmarked and in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a few ultra-light inner-sleeve removal marks but no other blemishes or wear to these factory fresh surfaces which incidentally 100% flat on the turntable with no traces of any dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
Most copies of this LP turn up in and well and oftern over-played state. This one however has received less than a handful of extremely careful plays on quality equipment and bear no trace of any groove or play wear distortion on any track. Even the delicate and easily worn 'Til There Was You', plays perfectly clean & clearly with no hint of any background noise, crackle or peakwear. My careful single play-check at volume also found no clicks, pops or ticks on or between any of these amazing songs. Very hard to upgrade this copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A respectable example of this easily blemished cover which was constructed from very brittle card stock. The striking front panel image is clean & bold with just some light storage rubbing to the laminate but no 'thumbnail' wrinkles or any other significant signs of wear. All corners are free from any heavy bumps or bruising and despite a hint of wear to the rear opening edge, there are no tears or feathering to either. The rear panel displays some faint age-related blemishes to the white paper but no other marks or any writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are undamaged & both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed and totally unworn.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with a tiny 1cm repair to the upper edge but writing or seam splits.
