This NEAR MINT UK 1st MONO pressing dates from initial December 1964 release on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1240
Both labels bear the the 'Sold in UK...' text & 'The Parlophone Co...' worded rims
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 2 label
Matrix numbers: XEX 503-3N & XEX 504-4N
Stamper codes: 2/GGD & 2/RDD
Disc weight: 143g
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback gatefold cover, complete with its original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve

A pristine pair with just two faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole
Visual: NEAR MINT
Flawless, factory-fresh playing surfaces retain all of their deep-gloss shine and are unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight. Closer examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines from the once or twice the discs has been removed from its inner. You will not need or be able top upgrade this exquisite example
Sound Quality: MINT
Played just once or twice at most, this flawless sounding copy is free from any form of audible wear. My single careful play-check at volume detected no groove/playwear, ticks, clicks or indeed any other distractions. I guaranteed you will not be disappointed
Cover: NEAR MINT
A superb example of this incredibly fragile cover which looks like it left the shops yesterday, let alone nearly 50 years ago
The delicate front leaf is perfectly flat and retains a superb high-gloss laminate with sharp, unworn edges on every side
The only blemish on the entire cover is a single faint spine wrinkle just above George's head
The rear panel is as glossy and unworn as the front and free from any wrinkling, ringwear or even a disc impression
The inside of the gatefold is totally unworn and is clean & black where it should be on both sides
There is no damage at all to either end of the delicate spine hinge
All seams of the rear pocket are smooth & unstressed
The spine is square, white and fully laminated
You will not find better
