Notes:
If the matrix is not stamped it is not this original release. The unofficial (counterfeit) came out in 1973 and bears the scratched matrix. This came out after the big success and desire for this rare Mercury sleeve. When purchasing always ask, if machine stamped as there is much confusion with a convincing quality counterfeit, that is the "Scratched Matrix" version.. The rear cover speech bubble "Oh by jingo" on an actual Mercury cover is very close to the lyrics above it (less than a lyric line space below the lyric "So softly a supergod cries (second times dies)" ), whereas on counterfeits the speech bubble is almost three line spaces below.
Barcode and Other Identifiers:

************************************************************************************************************************** Visual Grading: ******************* Both sides of the record sleeve looks - EXC-, Vivid Mercury graphics and print on both sides that still hold most of that shiny glossy luster, very few spots appear dull at all.  Amazing for an LP reaching the age of 46!
The inner sleeve is a plain white uncut (No die cut hole) generic sleeve, although we always resleeve into a VRP protector sleeve, which is the way I had it stored upon purchase in the mid '70s! You will of course receive both sleeves.
The vinyl looks - NEAR MINT - for a 46 year old album, honestly - looks - hot off the press, looks unplayed, just shiny glossy black, not a a scratch on this LP, gorgeous factory fresh grooves
Both Mercury Labels ((Pic #3 and Pic #4) look - NEAR MINT - Vivid Mercury black print and graphics on bright red labels, no bubbling of labels, no spindle drags, perfect spindle hole - looks brand new!
LP Spine (Pic #7) looks - NEAR MINT - vivid printing on this LP spine, no cracks, unmarked

Overall a gorgeous and highly desirable "46" year old Bowie collectible. A nice, RARE addition for any Bowie collector!

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Add me as a "Seller You Follow" as I will be listing lots of rare Bowie 45's, LP's, CD's and Memorabilia over time.
I've collected David since 1973 and what a trip it has been with this incredible artist and his career.
It was such a shame and incredible loss with his passing. It just seems unreal he is gone.
But what a body of work he has left us to enjoy and new releases to look forward to posthumously in the forecast.

Pay-Pal only please.
Thank you.
Happy Browsing.
