Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Donald Byrd “Off to the Races” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4007.   The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a high luster; a few light tics on the first track of Side 2.  The laminated West 63rd St. cover is also in excellent condition, bright and clean throughout; 1/8” wear at the top right and bottom corners; two tiny staple holes at the top right and left corners; “$349” stamped at the top right of the back slick.  Personnel include Jackie McLean, Pepper Adams, Wynton Kelly, Sam Jones, and Art Taylor.  $400.00.
