HUGO: HEY! WATCH OUT/ GIRL IN THE GARDEN.  FESTIVAL FK-3159.

One of those rare gems! Almost never turns up these days. Adelaide band from 1969. A quote from "Tomorrow is today": '..'Hey! watch out' is a slightly snarly and rather lascivious garage punker by obscure Adelaide power-trio Hugo, which is done and dusted in just 2mins and 10secs. The B side 'Girl in the garden' is more of the same, with a rather neat fade-in, some cool throbbing bass work, and a tight little drum break in the middle-and it only goes for 1min 52secs.." This quote is from the highly recommended book "Tomorrow is today-Australia in the Psychedelic Era,1966-1970", by Iain McIntyre (Wakefield Press, Adelaide 2006). Both sides written by Ted Martin. The A side appears on "Devil's Children" CD, and the B side on Volume 2. Clean labels. In company sleeve. The vinyl is a nice VG++.
