Description
MANDY MORTON Magic Lady Banshee UK 1978 - ULTRA RARE
Label: - BANSHEE
Catalogue: - BAN 1011
Details: - Here is the incredibly rare, and in stunning condition, Magic Lady by Mandy Morton. The original LP. Considered by many to be the best UK acid-folk album ever. Supposedly 1000 were pressed but it seems the actual number was really only in the few hundred. This comes from a batch of record dealer vinyl that was stored away in the late seventies, early eighties and marked 'new'. Never sold and just stored away hence the fantastic condition. It comes complete with the original hexagonal insert which is in perfect condition. This record has never been played. I have not placed it on a turntable myself as I wish to keep it truly unplayed. I have listed as used in the item specifics as it is an old original LP and not a current new re-issue or something similar but I must reiterate that I genuinely believe this record has never been played.
Vinyl: - NEAR MINT. The vinyl has never been on a turntable and is in as new condition. I never grade MINT even to new vinyl.
Sleeve: - The sleeve is a superb EX+. There is only some minor very small creasing's near the spine and there is very small indentation of handwriting in the front top right corner from where the original shop owner had written the price on a label. You can make out the original 1978 price and the word 'new'. Spine is crisp and fully readable
Labels: - The labels are NEAR MINT. There are no spindle marks at all.
This record seldom comes up for sale and even less so in this condition. Don't miss your chance

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
