Description

An original 1st press of EW on the UK Fly label. Matrix 2/2. Stampers 1-MD/1-HD. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue E J Day heavy-card cover. Please note the front cover exhibits the hype sticker on the top right corner. Also included is the bespoke inner sleeve and the original thick-paper poster. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Super audio as you come to expect from these lovely solid early copies. Interference is, thankfully, minor and infrequent. All I could detect was a few isolated crackles in 'Get It On' & 'Life's A Gas'. Nothing invasive, or persistence...i.e. in no way distracting. Expect to be blown away by this rendition of Bolan's glam classic.
Cover (Vg) Difficult to find in top condition, but this one has survived the years admirably and remains in very nice solid condition. The front looks good with that iconic sticker in the top right. There's creasing in the top left and bottom right corner - the cover, however, has avoided the usual heavy surface wear you often find on this title. The rear looks good too with just a few light creases, and again, very little surface wear [just a bit at the foot]. There's edge wear, but nothing epic. Slightly more wear on the spine so don't expect to be able to make out all the text. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity, in part, thanks to its heavy-card construction.
Inner (Vg+) A bit aged, but no markings or splits.
Poster (Ex) Hardly any ageing. No tears or splits. Never been on a wall.
