Description

An original 1st issue copy of EW on the UK Fly label. Matrix A2/3U [You can get 2/2]. Etching 'Porky'. Not one of the very earliest copies - but would have been available whilst charting. The vinyl comes housed in an original E J Day cover. You tend to find the earlier copies in the E J day covers - they were made of stiffer card. Printing then shifted to G&L and they were flimsy! We also have the original bespoke inner sleeve. NO POSTER.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a few very slight marks per side, one light radial mark. ALL fully tested and nothing remotely to worry about. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. A super player.. clean intros and inbetweens - the audio comes across with excellent clarity. It plays really clean into the quieter moments too - sweet! Expect just a touch of slight background in 'Girl'. Absolutely nothing upfront - just wont as clean as the rest of the LP. Highly recommended!...
Cover (Vg+) Many examples will be totally knackered by this point in time. I'm pleased to report that this example is looking pretty spritely for it's 50 years of age! A nice clean front without the usual surface wear you tend to find on this title. Ditto the rear with just a couple of minor creases. There's a bit of edge wear, but it has been inked in carefully and is looking very tidy. The spine looks very good with text 70% legible and just slight wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity in part thanks to the heavy card employed in manufacture.
Inner (Vg) Some ageing. A small bottom edge split has been taped up.
