Description

An original 1969 pressing of PPM on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 1N/2N. Font TRN & Publishing date indented. By 1969 demand for mono was on the wane and the labels were beginning a phased withdrawl from the format. As a result mono '69 copies are not that easy to get hold of. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original small mono Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex) In very nice condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks - but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal and fleeting. We didn't detect more than a touch of static in a couple of brief moments [literally]. A very very nice little player.
Cover (Vg+) In nice condition and has clearly been cared for down the years. The front is nice and shiny and exhibits only a couple of creases. The rear is showing some light ageing, but nothing too significant. Edge wear is light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Beautiful condition. No splits or markings.
