BEATLES UK  –  ABBEY ROAD LP, very early press, mispress label.

1969 PCS 7088 -  APPLE RECORD LABELS.

A very early press UK album in 100% original condition, featuring:

1.  on  side two on the label it looks as if for some reason the printing plates were disturbed as the text ‘PCS 7088’ and ‘P 1969’ appear out of alignment !, ie they appear more to the right. While it is not uncommon to have the text ‘thirty three and one third’ to be ‘off set’, it is very unusual to have this other text out of alignment.

2. most of these very early dark green apple labels together with their early press white sides of the apple labels did NOT feature the track title ‘Her Majesty’ listed on side two of the label !. This copy DOES feature the track ‘ Her Majesty ’ printed on the record label on side two.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE:  is in excellent condition, the sleeve is laminated front and rear. The spine is in very good condition and most of the text is clear to read. There are NO stains, pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue. 

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original white EMI sleeve with the ‘Patent No. 1,125,555 on. Theres NO pen writing, tears, edge splits, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE VINYL:  is in excellent+ condition.  The vinyl is made from the period ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. It is very dark and glossy in appearance, suggesting it has not been played much at all.

The Matrix are :   YEX  749 - 2   and  YEX  750  –  1,

The Mother/Stampers are :     ‘ 3   P D O ’  and   ‘ 3   M T P ’.

THE AUDIO: is near excellent, at the very beginning of each side  it plays with some crackle and ‘ticks’ but it soon settles down to give an excellent audio. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays well without the needle sticking or jumping.

THE LABELS:  side one is in near MINT condition,  side two is in excellent+ condition, as this record is a very early pressing, side one shows a DARK Green Apple.  The track ‘ Her Majesty ’ unusually is printed ON the record label on side two.  The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
