BEATLES UK – FIRST PRESS VINYL ABBEY ROAD LP, EX++.
1969 PCS 7088 - APPLE RECORD LABEL.
An early press UK album in 100% original condition, featuring:
1. the track ‘ Her Majesty ’ is NOT printed on the record label on side two nor is it printed on the rear of the sleeve, BUT the track DOES play on the record !
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the sleeve is fully laminated. The sleeve has an excellent straight, thin spine and all the text is clear to read. There are NO stains, pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original white EMI sleeve with the ‘Patent No. 1,125,555 on. Theres NO pen, tears, edge splits, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.
THE VINYL: is in excellent++ condition and looks like new, its difficult to see any marks at all on the playing surfaces. The vinyl is made from the period thick, heavy vinyl. It is very dark and very glossy in appearance, it looks just like new !.
The Matrix are : YEX 749 - 2 and YEX 750 – 1,
The Mother/Stampers are : ‘ 3 R L G ’ and ‘ 7 R D A ’.
THE AUDIO: is near excellent, I think with a proffesional clean the audio could be perfect as the playing surfaces, visually are so good. The record lays flat on the turntable plays well without the needle sticking or jumping.
THE LABELS: are in excellent++ condition and look like new, the best set of labels I have seen for a long time. The condition of the labels confirm that the record has seen very little play. As this record is a first pressing side one shows a DARK Green Apple. The song ‘ Her Majesty ’ does NOT appear on the label. Theres NO pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the labels.
