Description

Meddle a 1st issue on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A3/B3. Stampers 1A/3MR. Please note that the labels still mention 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text - this is indicative of 1st issue. The heavy vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover with a textured outer surface. Also included is the original patents inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) This really is a superbly preserved record and has only seen minimal use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Interference is minimal. All we could detect was the lightest touch of static briefly in a couple of tracks...and even that is very minor. Playback is superb and you would be hard pushed to better this copy...Given the nature of the audio on Meddle don't short-change yourself with an inferior copy...
Cover (Ex+) Has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely and clean front and back. All colours are still nice and vivid without any signs of fade or ageing. The interior is nigh on perfect. Edge wear is very light and the spine is in unusually good condition with all text fully legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies perfectly flat. A superb specimen.
Inner (Ex) Lightest of ageing. No marks. 1 X one inch split to bottom seam.
