Description

An original 1st press of Meddle on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 1U/1U - absolute 1st cut. Stampers 2M/1-GL. Please note the labels still exhibit "Gramophone" in the perimeter text - per 1st issue. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original textured [inside and out] Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original Harvest inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) Well, it's not often that you happen upon PF records that play this darn sweet. It's clearly seen very low-mileage and consequently doesn't look or sound far from a new record. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. You always know you're onto something when you hear the 'wind' in the intro and nothing else - by definition you have a low-mileage copy. Beautifully rendered audio and one really can't imagine any other copy managing to deliver the goods in the way this copy can. It's borderline faultless.. Interference is practically non-existent. All I could detect were a few crackles right at the start of side 2 - but precious little else the whole way through. 
Cover (Vg+) Nice and clean front and rear with only light handling evident. The interior looks great too - no issues from what I can make out. The only thing letting the side down is a bit of edge wear. Now, mostly it's pretty light. It's just on the spine where there's a bit more evident. Nothing that's worn-through...but don't expect to make out much of the text. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No splits. No markings.
